Gambaran Tingkat Ketergantungan Lansia Penderita Hipertensi Di Desa Tumbak Bayuh Kecamatan Mengwi Kabupaten Badung

Penurunan kesehatan fisik pada lansia berdampak pada kemampuan melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Bagi lansia yang menderita hipertensi, semakin tinggi tingkat hipertensi, maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat ketergantungan lansia terhadap care givernya yang dalam hal ini adalah keluarga pada tatanan komunitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat ketergantungan lansia penderita hipertensi di Desa Tumbak Bayuh Kecamatan Mengwi Kabupaten Badung tahun 2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia penderita hipertensi di Desa Tumbak Bayuh dengan jumlah sampel 123 responden yang diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner Indeks Barthel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas lansia hipertensi berumur 60-74 tahun yaitu, 94 orang (76,4%), jenis kelamin perempuan yaitu, 76 orang ( 61,8%) dan tidak bekerja yaitu, 72 orang (58,5%). Mayoritas lansia hipertensi tersebut memiliki tingkat ketergantungan mandiri, yaitu sebanyak 60 orang (48,8%), sedangkan lansia dengan tingkat ketergantungan ringan sebanyak 59 orang (48,0%). Penurunan fungsi organ pada lansia sejalan dengan penambahan usia dan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat ketergantungan. Penelitian ini bisa menjadi refleksi hasil perawatan lansia hipertensi oleh keluarga dan kualitas program kesehatan yang diberikan oleh fasilitas kesehatan terdekat, seperti Puskesmas.

A decline in physical health in the elderly has an impact on the ability to carry out daily activities. For the elderly who suffer from hypertension, the higher the level of hypertension, the higher the level of dependence of the elderly on their care givers, which in this case is the family in the community order. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of the level of dependence of elderly people with hypertension in Tumbak Bayuh Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency in 2025. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study is all elderly people with hypertension in Tumbak Bayuh Village with a sample of 123 respondents taken by purposive sampling method. This research instrument uses the Barthel Index questionnaire. The results of this study show that the majority of elderly hypertensive people are aged 60-74 years, namely, 94 people (76.4%), female gender, namely, 76 people (61.8%) and not working, namely, 72 people (58.5%). The majority of the elderly with hypertension have a level of independent dependence, which is as much as 60 people (48.8%), while the elderly with a mild level of dependence are 59 people (48.0%). Decreased organ function in the elderly is in line with increasing age and affects the level of dependence. This research can be a reflection of the results of treatment of the elderly with hypertension by families and the quality of health programs provided by nearby health facilities, such as health centers.
