Abstract
Diarrheal disease is still one of the common health problems experienced by school-age children and is closely related to the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Low implementation of PHBS can increase the risk of diarrhea occurring in the school environment. This study aims to describe clean and healthy living behaviors in the prevention of diarrheal disease among third and fourth-grade students at SD Saraswati 6 Denpasar. This study uses a quantitative descriptive design with a total sampling technique involving 259 students. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire covering aspects of knowledge, attitude, and PHBS practices. Data analysis was performed univariately and presented in the form of frequency and percentage distributions. The results showed that 157 students (60.6%) had a good level of PHBS knowledge, 155 students (59.8%) had a positive PHBS attitude, and 191 students (73.7%) had good PHBS practices. Based on these results, most students have knowledge, attitudes, and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in the good category. This is influenced by health education at school as well as the availability of supporting facilities. Good knowledge encourages the formation of positive attitudes and the implementation of PHBS measures in preventing diarrheal diseases.
